Metropolitan Washington Mensa's Regional Gathering took place on the weekend of January 18. Traditionally the RG weekend is our chapter's biggest event.
A variety of presenters entertained the crowd of 135-150 Mensans and guests (as estimated by the Webmaster; exact figures to follow).
Keynote speaker at the Saturday evening banquet was Dr. Dennis G. Milbert, Chief Geodesist of the National Geodetic Survey (NGS) of the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
We hope to have more on the RG soon, including photos. If you wish to share your photographs with our group, please send them to the Webmaster. If they're prints, we'll scan and return them. If they're electronic, all the better. Please include names of those pictured and a photographer's credit.

Other classic features included Occultarium, Charades, a chocolate orgy, Jokeoff, the game of Carnelli, a hugging contest, the MERF Auction, hospitality suites with six-foot subs, a pool party, T-shirts, souvenir mugs, book swap, SIG meetings, Friends of Bill W., and goodie bags.
The Hyatt Dulles Hotel in suburban Virginia was this year's RG site.
