Volunteer to assist any of the above
Contribute to the Newsletter
Host a New Members Open House (you even get
reimbursed for this – with receipts; there is a limit – contact the
Programs Officer or LocSec for information)
Host an MWM Saturday Night Party (you get
reimbursed for this, too – with receipts; there is a limit – contact the
Programs Officer or LocSec for information)
Host some other event that you’d enjoy – whatever
time and date you’d like, at your place, at a friend’s place, at your
favorite restaurant, roller skating rink, park, theatre or comedy club;
be creative!
Host a SIGHT visitor – SO rewarding to meet Mensans
from other chapters, and even from other countries!
Be a Scholarship judge (usually in January)
Be one of our MWM Odyssey of the Mind Judges
(usually in Jan/Feb)
Be a Testing Proctor (we try to have one
testing session each month)
Take a role at the RG, like heading up Hospitality, Security, Registration, or the whole thing, or help negotiate the hotel contract, or give a talk, or volunteer to help out with any of the above.
